Mandy Riemer

Passion became reality

In 1998 she discovered her love for Irish Dance. She saw “Lord of the Dance” and it happened.

Mandy started to dance in 2002, did her first dance steps in front of TV, took part in a Ceílí Dance Course until she finally met an experienced dancer. She tought Mandy in real traditional Irish Dance.

In 2004 she found her first own student. Two years later the dance class counts in 8 dancers. The Irish Dance Stendal-Gardelegen e.V. was born.

She is the leader and trainer and responsible for choreography and administration of our association.

Uda Freyer

… is 13 years old. She always practises with a lot of discipline. This girl is quiet and reserved, acts elegant and graceful on stage.

Uda will play the immortal princess in the show.

She starts to dance in November 2004 and has become indispensable for the club.

She is beside me the second “old stager” in the team.  Further she is responsible for finance and trainer as substitute.

Manu will dance “Lady Ithir” (Earth).

Doris Zehrendt

She joined the club in 2006. Disciplined and always correct she practices very hard.

Doris is responsible for costumes – design and sewing.

In the show she will dance a lord, cavalier of “Earth”.

Julia Metelka

Julia had become a member in 2006. She is very talented and has a lot of fun on stage. Like Uda she is 13 years old and one of the “Teens” in the group.

Her charisma is unique. The choice of the cast of “Lady Daigh”  (Fire) wasn’t difficult to decide.

Tina Beck

Since 2007 Tina belongs to the permanent staff.

She will dance a lord, cavalier of “Fire”.

She also is press secretary of the association.

Gela Berninger

Due to a ceílí dance session in 2006 she found the way to the group. Gela enriched the club with heart and soul.

In the show she will dance a lord, the cavalier of “Water”.

Gela also is responsible for catering.

Alina Balakleiskaia

The role of the element “Air” is performed by a trained ballet dancer.

She comes from Kyrgyzstan. The girl learns quickly and trains with enthusiasm.

Alina owns so much of grace and will be a perfect “Lady Speír” in the show.

Stephan Zehrendt

In 2007 finally a man found the courage to dance. He was infected with the Irish dance virus by his wife Doris.

Stephan will perform the cavalier of “Air”.

In the association he is responsible for advertisement.
